Muerte Hot Honey is a for fun packaging project designed to incorporate an illustrative style into the execution. The concept is built around the idea that something super spicy can humble you. So Muerte Hot Honey is hot enough to remind you of your own mortality. This concept is communicated through the skull illustrations on the primary and secondary packaging, the hidden coffin shape segments in the glass jar design and through various bits of copy (Muerte being the Spanish word for death). The primary and the secondary packaging both feature six-sided hexagonal profiles when viewed from the top - to  resemble the hexagonal patterns seen on honey combs.
